Sea Cliff Residence

Unlike a typical San Francisco home, this space was crafted to feel open and sculptural, with generous windows that capture the city’s soft, silvery light. A bright, airy palette allows the marine layer to move through the interiors, casting a luminous, diffused glow.

The original, circuitous layout was reimagined from the ground up, transforming the home into something expansive, cohesive, and quietly expressive. The floor plan was reworked, ceilings were vaulted, and the staircase was sculpted to feel effortless and fluid - setting the architectural tone for what followed.

From there, the interior palette took shape. Finishes were refined, custom built-ins and stone sinks were designed, and bespoke furniture and soft goods were layered in to create a warm, dimensional interior. Craftsmanship and materiality lead throughout, resulting in a space that feels elevated yet deeply lived in. The resulting home feels timeless but never precious - designed to hold the flow of daily life with ease.
